  1. Wow, only one anti-Trump post…he must be getting therapy for that pesky TDS. With any luck, Fauci will have a vaccine for that soon.

    • Yes, your intellectual argument of saying I have TDS has gotten me to change my ways. I now believe Trump is the greatest president to ever live…100 percent consistency, no broken campaign promises, zero corruption, always acting in the the best interest of America, fiscally responsible…I now see why we should all bow to the altar of this do-no-wrong perfect human being. 🙄

  2. Amash meme is so easily refuted at all levels… Many youth equate “capitalism” with whatever large corporations + government entanglement they see, or with outcomes of prior free-trade absolutism that offshored manufacturing and left communities behind. Gallup and others note that “free enterprise” polls far more positively than the loaded term “capitalism.” When asked about concrete features (private property, competition, innovation, pay for performance), support is higher.

Trump’s approach is explicitly not pure free-market orthodox, but it is economic nationalism responding to China’s state-directed model and the failures of prior open-border trade. By openly using tariffs, strategic equity, and industrial tools to rebuild capacity and extract reciprocity, it is clearer about the role of government than the quiet cronyism of regulatory capture, export-import bank subsidies, or endless farm/corporate programs under previous presidents of both parties. Transparency about trade-offs can reduce, rather than increase, the “hidden socialism blamed on markets” problem Amash fears.

    I could go on but
