Most leftists have no concept of wealth creation, the idea of creating something new from scratch. Take the financial system out of the picture and imagine starting over in an economy with no food. Say a farmer plants crops, hunts, and fishes. He compiles enough food to feed 100 people. Communists like AOC, Bernie Sanders, and Elizabeth Warren would have you believe that food had to be taken from someone else. Wealth, in this case food, is already in existence, and the rich farmer took it from the poor starving people that have no food. But the farmer created wealth that didn’t exist before–it’s not a zero sum game!
The same concept applies to society’s entrepeneurs, factury workers, construction builders, and other producers. They’re creating new wealth that is available to benefit humanity. Government, on other hand, just puts up road blocks to that wealth creation and siphons resources every step of the way. These resources are either wasted with bureaucratic inefficiencies, redirected to corrupt officials, or given to people who don’t have the expertise to turn it into more resources to benefit the world.
Elon is a grifter…a very smart grifter, but a grifter nonetheless. The carbon credit scam he got legislated delivered billions to him on the backs of the big three automakers and taxpayers shelled out millions in subsidies so rich people could buy his cars. Virtually everything that goes into space is fueld in part by tax dollars. I don’t question the fundamental concept of free market capitalism, but I will condemn CRONY CAPITALISM until it is gone. Elon is a CRONY CAPITALIST. He may also be a genius, but it would be interesting to see how far he would get WITHOUT being able to harness the power, violence, and finances of the government on his and his companies’ behalf. Who knows, maybe he would have done even better. But guaranteed the folks who earned the monies handed out to him likely had other things they would rather have spent THEIR money on.
Its racist to say that about an African American. Last year he was a nazi. Maybe if I’d worked a little harder I could be rich, too. Oh well. I find it hard not to be awestruck by his success. I see others calling for his death and wishing him harm. What a bunch of losers.
You deserve the same death as Elon for co signing behavior that is determental to society.
