Occam’s Razor

It’s no coincidence that Congressional Democrats and Establishment RINOs, mostly who’ve been in power for decades despite deep unpopularity, are the ones fighting what 80+ percent of American people want.

Another Catch-22

Iran uses oil wealth to fund its war effort, terrorist sponsorship, and suppression of its own population. Some of you may wonder why we just don’t destroy its oil infrastructure. Problem solved! Unfortunately, in addition to the environmental disaster and infliction of long-term poverty on the Irani people, world economics get in the way. Even if we and most of our allies don’t buy Iran’s oil, China and others do. If they can’t get their oil there, they must compete for the same oil supply as the rest of the world. In other words, fuel prices would skyrocket even more.

Oil means more than just higher prices at the pump. It cascades into the cost of nearly every product. Think powering of factories, transporting goods, increasing input costs. For example, cutting down trees and making them into lumber requires energy. Transporting the wood to Home Depot takes fuel. Translation: lumber prices rise, and therefore house construction is more expensive. The threat of prolonged oil disruption has even made the Fed reverse course on interest rates, where the odds of a rate increase are now higher than a cut, something that was unthinkable a month ago. So, not only might you be paying more for a new house, but your interest rate may be higher also. Shocker–yet another unintended consequence of war. 😱

  1. Came across this after reading your thoughts:

IN ORDER TO DEFEAT IRAN, WE MUST ALLOW IRAN TO SELL OIL SO THAT IT CAN MAKE MONEY TO FINANCE ITS WAR AGAINST US, BECAUSE THEIR SALES OF OIL WILL KEEP PRICES LOW ENOUGH FOR US TO CONTINUE TO WAGE WAR AGAINST THEM.
