Spot on. Also, the actions in Iran are in the US interest. We weaken them so that Israel can be the power in the region, which will limit our future involvement in the region and we eliminate the threat of Iranian nuclear weapons. In addition, Iran isn’t supporting Russia with drones now and their oil won’t go to China unfettered.
This conflict is in our interest and our ally in the region is supporting us. This isn’t a stupid pointless/endless war. If it turns into one, then I’ll change my tune on our president.
