Lesson of the Day

The amount of money wasted by the U.S. government is staggering. It’s tough to visualize the math once you start throwing out big numbers like billions and trillions. Most people would say $1000 is a lot of money (remember how excited we were for $1200 “stimulus” checks?). If you spent $1000 every second, it would take roughly 11.5 days to spend a billion. To spend a trillion dollars, you’d have to keep up that pace for almost 32 years! Think about that…$1 trillion means spending $1000 every second of every day for 32 years! In one year–2025, the government spent $7 trillion, with $1.8 trillion of it being new debt. In 2026, we’ll of course be spending much more, easily surpassing $40 trillion accumulated debt. And this is just the federal government. It doesn’t include thousands of state & local governments.

The federal debt is not without repercussions, as our annual interest is now above $1 trillion alone, or about $2.74 billion per day. Would you be excited to win $1 million dollars in a lottery? For what the feds are spending in interest alone, with nothing to show for it, they could make 2,740 Americans millionaires every day! Still excited about that $1200 stimulus check? On top of the $7 trillion of spending, Trump wants to add $600 billion more in defense, and Democrats are willing to shutdown government in nearly every other area unless we increase the spending budgets.

Is it any wonder they’re constantly inventing new ways to steal our money and inflate our currency?

  1. Every penny wasted pisses me off. I want 100% focus on the waste, fraud, and outright theft of my tax dollars. I want people in jail. I want foreigners kicked out of the country. I want the Marines to go to those same foreign countries and get out money back. Fly their asses to Somalia and get those daycare dollars and kill anyone they have to in order to return that money. I want senators and representatives impeached and imprisoned. Nothing else is as important as that, save election integrity. Which apparently is stalling out too.

  2. 535 leaves out 9 clowns in gowns and tweedle dumb and tweedle dumber in the White House. Delete all. Well to be fair, Massie, Paul, and maybe a couple of others could stay.
