An Incredibly BAD Idea

This kind of thing opens up a long list of terrible scenarios…more regulation, crony capitalism, taxation, inefficiencies, corruption, and so much more. It sets a precedent for any administration to purchase stock in ANY company, or as Trump is doing, simply coerce them into giving up ownership stakes voluntarily. Would you want Gavin Newsom, Hillary Clinton, Zohran Mamdami, Chuck Schumer, or Nancy Pelosi wielding this power? Would you want to give any Congress the power to allocate funds from a $7 trillion budget to own & control whatever they like?

It has been refreshing to see that on Fox business, normally a Trump boot locking station, that EVERY guest and most of the hosts are absolutely opposed to the purchase/ownership of any amount of any company by the government. Ownership of the means of production is as blatantly socialist as you can get.
Yep, and since just about every other MSM outlet is reflexively anti-Trump, they’re being forced to defend capitalism and explain why government intrusion in business is bad. 😱
We bailed out Ford back in the Obama days, I don’t really see this as any different…. Chip manufacturing is a Strategic vertical. I am not a big fan of this but it has been done before… US Steel, etc…
Well, there was also General Motors, Chrysler, Amtrack ETC. This is hardly unprecedented but results vary.
Up until not long ago, I could not see how Biblical end times scenarios would play out because I thought you’d see it coming from a mile away. Then it dawned on me and now I can’t unsee it- it comes from the “right”!!!! That’s how so many are fooled. That’s why most don’t see it coming!!! God amazes me more and more the older I get. Understated of course.
And every company we “bailed out” (aka – stole from the taxpayers in order to prop up the stock portfolios, etc. of companies that couldn’t cut it in a competitive market), cost us FREEDOM, LIBERTY, WEALTH, and a commitment to capitalism. It also hurt their SUPERIOR competitors who were also stolen from and who then had to continue competing against a company whose assets they might even have been able to purchase to grown their own business. Sorry, it was WRONG the very first time it was done and 10,000 wrongs STILL do NOT make a right!!!!
