If you think capitalism is the problem, then you probably think that what we have in the US actually is capitalism. It is not. We have a central bank that micromanages the quantity and cost of money. No free market capitalist economy would ever allow such an atrocity. Then we have oppressive taxation, regulation, controls on capital, permits on behavior and property and so much more. Then we have government protectionism of giant cartels that control huge segments of our economy like banking, healthcare, insurance and others. Capitalism is not a failure. Government has destroyed the environment in which capitalism is trying to enrich us all.
