Nations form alliances with other ones because they believe they will provide mutual benefits, most commonly for reasons of economics and military protection. Despite the fact some U.S. allies are fair-weather friends, you can see these factors reflected in the relationships. NATO was originally formed to counter the expanding power of the Soviet Union. Canada and Mexico are two of our most important trading partners due to their proximity and economic sizes. Japan, South Korea, and EU countries also have large economies that are important to world trade. United Kingdom and former British colonies such as Australia share many of the same ideologies of freedom and capitalism, thus explaining why the U.S. has had such a strong bond with them.
Although many of these countries have had disturbing trends in leadership, the potential mutual benefits are obvious. Now consider Israel. Militarily, it’s a strong country, but that’s mainly due to the massive annual aid packages from the United States. However, they’re half way around the world and tiny, so they’re not exactly in the best position to provide us any military assistance. Also, during America’s most significant wars of the past 30 years (Iraq twice and Afghanistan), Israel was specifically instructed to stand down, as their entry would potentially draw in millions of Muslims, while Western-friendly Arab nations would withdraw support. In fact, much of the terrorist hatred of the West is built solely on America’s support of Israel.
How about economic benefits? The GDP of Israel ranks #28 in the world at $513 billion. For perspective, Indiana ranks #19 in GDP of the U.S. states, which beats the entire country of Israel. And again, they’re halfway around the world, which is not ideal for trading relationships.
So, we have to ask, why is it that so many American politicians feel the need to spit out the NPC line, “Israel is our greatest ally?” Billions of dollars are sent there annually. Hatred of the United States around the world grows exponetially. Very little economic interaction takes place, and Israel doesn’t provide any military protection. What benefits do we see on the American side?
I don’t take sides in the Israel-Muslim conflicts, simply because it’s impossible to tell what’s true in the bombardment of propaganda from both sides, but regardless, what benefit does the U.S. derive from getting involved? Why are American politicians so obsessed with defending Israel? I don’t buy for a second that religion is a factor. Although politicians love to do photo ops of worshipping activities, almost none of them are devout enough in their faith to let religion affect their decisions. So, what is the motivation for Israel-first policies? 🤔 I’ll let you draw your own conclusions.

Here’s my take on why the US supports Isreal. In terms of US grand strategy, we face 3 existential threats: unchecked mass immigration, Muslim extremists/Islamists, and China. The Trump administration has begun dismantling the first problem, and the US is refocusing its military and economic power vs China. Supporting Israel is a cost-effective way of managing the Islamist threats (Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, ISIS, et al) in its various forms.
You answered your own question with the following meme. Epstein was a MOSSAD asset (among others). His procurement of little boys and girls for politicians, who he then taped, was all part of a larger blackmail scheme that likely continues to this day. AIPAC picks up the rest through campaign donations OR THREATS to donate to opponents if their target does not comply. JFK was going after them, pushing for them to register as a foreign agent (they are not so registered) and look what happened to him. Everyone gets the message. LBJ allowed the Israelis to murder seamen on the USS Liberty, covered it up, and virtually denied it even happened. I don’t know the absolute root of the corruption, but I suspect it has to do with the Bank of England, the Rothchilds, and the control the banksters have had over our nation for at least 112 years now. The whole thing is like a cancerous tumor with tentacles reaching into every aspect of our private and government structure.
Scripturally speaking, and historically, Israel is a critical timepiece and yea, God will return His attention to them. For now- everyone’s got a hobby horse narrative and agenda but no one really knows shit. Me included. I’m content to see how God uses them to His purposes. I have some hunches but I’ve learned many times the hard to never engage people on such matters. Nothing matters, no one’s opinions are likely to change. Pointless and not worth my time.
What passes for “Israel” today is simply a large collection of Eastern European Jews who changed their names to something Hebrew-sounding. They have less in connection with the people who were spoken of in the Bible than the Palestinians who live in the area. I don’t put a lot of stock in the Bible’s projected outcomes for humanity, but I certainly know that the current state of Israel (which even the Hassidic Jews oppose) is NOT the one spoken of in the Bible.
