While this is a good thing, as it was always ridiculous for the government to be subsidizing obesity, it’s also a reminder that when you give government control over benefits and health care, it can change the terms at any time. For those who want total government-provided “free” health care, this means it can dictate vaccines, food consumption, required wellness visits & tests, exact treatments for specific diseases, and anything else the current regime in power decides is in your best interest (excluding themselves from any requirements, of course).

I recommend Rumble and DuckDuckGo if you want to seek out new material on politics and current events, but as much as I dislike the Google corporation, Youtube is still the place to go for instructional material, music videos, and other fun stuff. And if you do a lot of learning and consuming its content, the ad-free premium membership is well worth the money ($12 per month if you pay annually). For example, you can watch all the playlists and do all the Youtube quizzes on this website with no commercials (I make nothing from those, BTW). I’d love to use Rumble or other sites to provide the same videos, but unfortunately other places just don’t have anywhere near the content.

Here’s a small sample of Youtube playlists I’ve linked in:
