I get that Trump admin is throwing out every distraction story it can think of, but why do we have 230,000 pages of documents if MLK was hit by a lone assassin? Is this supposed to make us feel more confident that we can trust the DOJ and our intelligence agencies? In other words, “You can trust us on Epstein because we’re giving you evidence we were involved in yet another conspiracy?” 👍
Nail in the Coffin of the Republican Party
It’s bad enough that Trump is insulting his own supporters, but he’s multiplying the problem by attacking influencers with millions of devoted followers such as Elon Musk, Thomas Massie, Rand Paul, and Tucker Carlson. Is he going to go after Joe Rogan and Dave Smith next since they’re not toeing the line on the Epstein coverup? How long before he throws Tulsi Gabbard and RFK under the bus? All the expanded voting blocks and younger generation support have likely been squandered forever by Trump and Deep State RINOs in Congress. The horrendous state of the Democratic Party right now is the only thing saving Republicans from complete destruction.
I discussed a few days ago how for me, it’s 3rd party or bust. But probably a better solution is to just vote for candidates who run as Independents (I). Party labels at this point may be a detriment to election as there will always be a segment of the population who won’t even consider the candidate with certain labels. Even the Libertarian Party and Elon’s new American Party will be down 30+ percent of voters due to their associations. Independent candidates can run on and vote their consciences. They’re not forced to stick rigidly to party platforms, or defend adhorrent behavior like what the current leadership of both parties is exhibiting.
Independent voters have been fed up with both sides for decades. But a growing phenomenon now is that Democrat voters are disgusted with the Democrat Party, and Republican voters are disgusted with the Republican Party. It seems every candidate in every national election nowadays runs by saying they’re an outsider. They’re anti-Establishment, blah blah blah. That should tell you the time is ripe for a true change in the course of American politics.
