Instead of jury nullification shouldn’t we just vote to change a law we don’t like? When they have jury nullification you’re leaving it up to 12 people how is that fair?
Agreed, voting to change the law would be best. Unfortunately, as we’ve seen way too often, leaders ignore the will of the people.
This is true but a jury of 12 is hardly the will of “all” the people. Lord knows we need to do a better job electing our officials and I do believe in term limits. Seems like the longer they’re in office the less they care about their constituents.
