Never Trust a Headline
Almost everyone who consumes current events media is a casual browser. In other words, we skim through headlines and occasionally click on some stories to read some of the article, and even then, we often only read the first few paragraphs. So, this makes it easy to fall for yet another manipulation tactic of mainstream media – deceptive headlines. Even when they tell the truth, they do it in such a way that most readers come away thinking something completely different. This is especially true when the reader is already primed to believe a story. For example, liberals hate Trump, so any negative hit piece “makes sense” or “yeah, that sounds like him.”
Try sometime to browse the carefully crafted news article headlines for any liberal source – MSNBC, NY Times, CNN, CNBC, Google News, MSN, and so on. I guarantee you will find a scattered collection of Trump hit pieces, or at least they appear to be by the manipulative way they write the headlines. Then, if you click on some you’ll find the truth is completely different when put in full context. You can’t hate the media enough.

I’ve even caught Breitbart articles pulling the same trick. Obviously, going the opposite direction and against people conservatives dislike. It is even more disgusting when ours do it. They need more integrity than the other side.
