Why I Have More Trivia Quizzes on Older Movies

The golden age of movies was the 80s and 90s. I think around the mid-2000s, they started to go downhill. Post 2010, it’s extremely slim pickings for good quality movies. I’ve almost given up trying any newer ones since it’s such a waste of time. Save me some time, please tell me in the comments some post-2010 movies you think are worth trying out? Thanks!

The gentlemen, Drive, Whiplash, grand Budapest hotel, brightburn… agree it’s slim pickings. Outside of the earlier avengers stuff and of course Deadpool 1-2 it’s awful. A B movie today is not a B movie.
Top Gun2, Mission impossible with Tom Cruise, inception, Dunkirk
I cant…
Bone Tomahawk, God’s Crooked Lines, The Swimmers, Back in Action, Ordinary Men ” The Forgotten Holocaust” also The Last Days even though this one’s from 1998 it’s worth the watch
The Reagan movie, A Star is Born, The Greatest Showman, Bohemian Rapsody
The public picked Wilson and FDR. One can dream about what things might have been like had neither been born, or “removed” early on in life, etc. but what about all the people and their collective ignorance that voted for them? Another destructive candidate would have been elected…guaranteed. THAT is why waking people up, educating them, correcting their delusions and economic ignorance, etc is so important.

Here’s a couple I forgot. Walk The Line, the Johnny Cash bio and Casino Royale, one of the better Bond movies and Daniel Craig’s first. Sadly both are about 20 years old.
Well, I can suggest to you that the last best Disney film was “Secretariat” in 2012. It seems a forgotten film, but was brilliantly created, and presented. It is a true family movie, expounding the virtues of a hard work culture, perseverance, never giving up when you know you’re on the right track, family values, and a lovely presentation overall. The people in it were kind, grand actors. God is in the shadows, from my perspective.
With all the hate filled crap on TV and film now, it will stand out if you haven’t seen it. If you have, try it again, because the last time you watched it, you were a different person than you are today. It may have a different meaning for you.
