It’s nice to see the JFK assassination files released, although it looks to me more like a classic document dump. This is a technique used often by lawyers in litigation where they dump rooms full of documents on opposing counsel. While technically they may be following evidentiary laws, they make it near impossible to find the truly important stuff. And I’m sure plenty of contradictory disinformation is included, so people can be led to believe what they want to believe. Regardless, it doesn’t take a genius to know the official story doesn’t check out. You don’t need 63,000 documents if the hit was really carried out by a lone gunman.
We shouldn’t expect much useful information or any arrests to come out of the Epstein files either, if anything more comes out at all. Is the Trump administration being stonewalled by Deep Staters in the FBI, or is the administration purposely holding back information? It’s hard to know. My guess is some of both. I believe Trump was sincere on releasing the Epstein list, and I don’t believe he or anyone high up in his administration is on the list, otherwise they wouldn’t have talked so much about it in the campaign. However, a number of factors could be motivating DOJ to hold out.
First, the Feds could be threatening to plant incriminating information in the Epstein files. We all know denials, counter evidence, or common sense won’t matter a shred to the media if information hurts any Trump officials. Like the “Fine People” BS, any lies will live forever and become standard talking points of the Left. Second of all, the Deep State could have gotten to Pamela Bondi or other higher ups–blackmail or bribery, the standard operating procedure. But my guess is a 3rd possibility, which is that the Epstein files incriminate some key Republicans in Congress that Trump needs to pass some of his legislation. Remember, there are razor thin majorities in both houses, with several RINOs on the take, so there isn’t much room for error. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump officials themselves are using Epstein files as leverage to keep them in line. Top financial campaign contributors could also be implicated. It’s all a sad game.
Who knows what to believe? I hold out a tiny speck of hope that Trump is just playing the media and critics again, waiting for them to ratchet up the rhetoric before he slaps them in the face with the files, forcing them to eat crow again. However, the realist in me knows there is too much power, corruption, and permanent blackmail material to even give the Trump administration a chance to do the right thing.

Interesting take Joe, that ‘option 3’ you mention; and very likely, as those doing the blackmailing would obviously be playing both sides of the aisle. Jeff Childers had a good analysis on the file dump on March 20th – here is a link if you are interested: https://www.coffeeandcovid.com/p/mongoose-love-thursday-march-20-2025?utm_source=post-email-title&publication_id=463409&post_id=159480509&utm_campaign=email-post-title&isFreemail=true&r=1jgo6s&triedRedirect=true&utm_medium=email
Thanks for sharing this, Mike. It offers an interesting take on JFK’s view of the IC and its skullduggery. I wish DJT’s IC team much success in restoring respectability and accountability to the profession.
There is an old say ” kill them all and let God sort them out.” The scumbags show their true colors with their votes, behavior, etc. so list or no list, we already know who our enemies are.
