New Terms to Shut People Up and Control Thoughts

We should all be familiar with the Left’s weaponization of words such as racist, conspiracy theorist, and misinformation. You can now add ones with Putin or Russia in the name, such as Putin Puppet, Russian disinformation, and Putin Apologist. They’re designed to brand people, avoid rational discussions, and shut down any true counter points that go against a narrative. It’s a form of thought control, as it not only hits the target of the name calling, it disuades others from speaking up for fear of getting hit with the same attacks.
Believe it or not, it is possible to dislike both sides who are fighting in a war, and it is possible to believe the costs of interfering far outweigh any benefits. Yes of course, Russia uses propaganda and disinformation, but does that mean Ukraine and Western powers don’t?! Zelenskyy has shut down media sources and has carefully crafted propaganda tours for useful idiot celebrities and Establishment politicians. The Biden Administration worked with Big Tech companies to censor and deplatform Americans on a mass scale. Countries throughout Europe are regularly arresting people for memes and mean social media posts. These are all reasons why it’s so important to rely on logic and common sense, as well as to learn concepts of history and human pscyhology.
I personally believe we should err on the side of not getting involved in foreign wars. Even when the side we support “wins,” the aftermath often comes back to bite us in the ass. Need examples? In World War I, we helped Britain & France defeat Germany, only to give rise to the Nazi regime. FDR gave Stalin almost everything he wanted in World War II. After Hitler was thankfully defeated, we then had to fight a 45-year Cold War, with all of Eastern Europe subjugated to Soviet rule. We helped Saddam fight to a stalemate against Iran in the 1980s, only to have to fight Iraq in two Perisan Gulf Wars, then after deposing Saddam, the buildup of ISIS and other terrorist organizations. Obama took out Gaddafi, which was followed up by a Civil War and violent Arab Spring. We armed Al-Qaeda to help counter the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, only to get hit on 9/11 and get dragged into a never-ending War on Terror.
Zelensky is a corrupt dictator, who may or may not be as bad as Putin. Who knows what the facts are though, with the nonstop propaganda barrage of both sides. History shows America doesn’t have a great track record of picking the lesser of two evils.
