Random Thoughts

* For 4 years Biden inflated the currency with supercharged spending and money printing, leading to higher prices on almost everything. American energy production & refining were stifled every step of the way, leading to higher transportation costs. Over 100 chickens have been murdered due to a few thousand supposed bird flu cases. Democrats have obstructed and delayed everyone of Trump’s cabinet picks, while filing frivolous lawsuits in districts dominated by Democrat-appointed judges…all designed to prevent Trump from getting anything done. Yet, only a few weeks into his term, the media/Left’s top talking point: “Why haven’t you fixed egg prices? Ha ha stupid Trump voters, you’ve been fooled–Trump will never bring prices down!”

* I’m not a big fan of executive orders. I’d say 99 percent of them are unconstitutional. They have become commonplace due to precedents set by the most unilateral, power-grabbing presidents in American history–Woodrow Wilson and FDR. We’re still sorting out the massive damage from Biden’s endless barrage of executive orders. So, if Dems don’t like Trump’s use of the tool to strike back at their corruption and power control structures, they have no one to blame but themselves. While a lot of us are cheering Trump using EOs with DOGE, border enforcement, energy production, etc., we shouldn’t get too excited for the simple reason they can easily be undone once another President Select gains power. It’s why it’s more important than ever to get judges in place that will follow the Constitution. And if you really want to cut government the right way, veto EVERY F-ING SPENDING BILL until the budget is balanced. I don’t care what you have to shut down. Public opinion has shifted drammatically on this issue. It’s not too hard to sell the common sense explanation of only spending what you take in. It’s not that complicated!

* Remember, as we hit -50 windchills in several cities of continental U.S., don’t you dare question the “settled science” of climate change. MSM and well financed scientists tell us record high Earth temperatures cause this cold, and you’re stupid to listen to your unscientific common sense and shivering body. BTW, there’s no such psych principle as gaslighting. Trust the experts. 👍

* At this point we should know not to accept ANYTHING said by the mainstream media at face value. NEVER acknowledge any of their talking points! And it’s especially time to push back every time they use one of their generic lines: “experts say,” “sources say,” “critics say,” “studies show,” “that’s been debunked,” etc. We should be asking “Which expects?” “Which sources?” “Who’s supposedly debunking or criticizing this?” Call out their biased material, or more likely, completely made-up stories. They’re just different forms of the anonymous sources BS they’ve used with Trump the past 10 years.

* Building on those concepts, whenever you have a so-called journalist make a ludicrous statement stated as fact, if you don’t call it out, you’re indirectly accepting it. This is a specialty technique of the Super-Karen versions of Jim Acosta: Margaret Brennan and Kaitlin Collins. Recent examples: “Free speech was weaponized by the Nazis to conduct a holocaust…”, “Immigrants were properly vetted. Yes, they were completely vetted.” “You’ve met with members of ‘far-right’ parties in Europe…” JD Vance and Marco Rubio have been masterful in recent interviews, and the answering techniques need to be used regularly, but even better, maybe stop even giving these propagandists a platform. Just let them whine and make up BS amongst themselves. Save your time only for those who can conduct a professional, honest interview.

  1. “Remember, as we hit -50 windchills in several cities of continental U.S…”

Bah. That’s nothing. Worked in Bemidji, MN (quite often the 2nd coldest city in the US, just behind International Falls, MN) for a few years, and when I first started it was the winter of 2013-14, one of the 5 coldest they’d had *on record.*

Walked 2/3 of a mile to work every morning (because driving that short distance at -35F or colder isn’t good for the engine) and when the phone says “Feels like -78F” (or even colder) made for a long, long walk. And it wasn’t very windy, but wind chill doesn’t take much at those temps.

There was a *lot* of those long, long walks. When it got up to -5F, it felt positively *balmy*…
