Look Out for Misinformation! 😱

One of the frustrating things about the new buzzword, “misinformation,” is that it has its intended effect even if what they’re calling false is obviously true. EVERY time a negative story about Democrats comes out nowadays, you hear at least one mainstream media hack or Democrat politician scream “misinformation!!!!!” It’s almost become like a bodily function. It doesn’t matter if it takes 10 seconds on Google to confirm a story with primary source documentation. It doesn’t matter if we are seeing/hearing the story live in real time. All it takes is one of the propagandists to say misinformation, then they just echo each other to the point their Democrat base no longer believes the story. The misinformation charge even has its effect with critical thinkers who long ago stopped believing anything said by mainstream media. The problem is that we all know there’s a ton of fake stuff that goes around the web and social media. So, when we hear anyone say a story is fake, at least a small part of us wonders, “Is it really true?”

One-third of the population that makes up the too-far-gone part of the Left refuses to believe anything negative about their saintly Democrats. The cognitive biases are just too overwhelming. Even something as obviously corrupt as the Fauci, Biden family, and J6 pardons can’t break their fixed mindsets. Virtually every liberal I’ve seen has fallen hook, line, and sinker for the gaslighting explanation of possible Trump retaliation. That is, every liberal who’s actually heard about the pardons through the MSM story blackout. They can’t even open their minds a shred to think some shady things are up. About the only complaints I’ve heard from liberals on the pardons is that it “gives ammunition to conspiracy theorists” and allows them to spread misinformation, not that the Bidens had ever done anything remote corrupt, January 6th committee members destroyed evidence, or Fauci lied repeatedly about Covid.

There’s that word again–misinformation. I’ve mentioned in previous blogs how leftists love to scream for a source, which they’ll promptly ignore after you give them it. But maybe we should start turning these arguments around. Whenever you hear a leftist scream “misinformation,” maybe we should ask, “What’s your source for calling this story misinformation?” Oh, a DNC intern said it’s false, wellllllllll theeeen… 🙄
