How Many Red Pills Do They Need?
Contrary to popular belief, most of California is center/right in its political ideology. However, like much of the nation, they’re held hostage by a few communist-dominated big cities trying to tell the rest how to live. In California, leftists are absolutely obsessed with “climate change” hysteria. Rush Limbaugh and other conservatives were warning about California’s insane forestry management all the way back to the 90s, yet the state repeats the devasting pattern of wildfires every few years, all easily preventable. On top of that, you would think the record cold temperatures, snow in Florida, and half a century of doomsday predictions that didn’t come true would at least make some left-leaning voters wonder if they’re buying into propaganda. Covid taught us that billions can be brainwashed to believe the opposite of what they’re witnessing with their own eyes in real time. It taught us scientists can be censored and intimidated into silence. So, maybe, just maybe, we should expand our vision to the rest of the “settled science” fed to us by media and leftist politicians.
Unfortunately, in California, even though much of the citizenry is finally wising up, because they gave up all voter integrity controls, the state likely won’t cease to be Democrat-controlled the rest of our lifetimes. It’s no coincidence Gavin Newsom so urgently passed a law preventing photo ID’s for voting. It’s no coincidence it took 6 weeks to count votes from the 2024 election, with late decisions ALL going to Democrats.
It’s not as far-fetched as you think for California to turn into a red state, given a fair voting system. Ronald Reagan, an icon of conservativism, won the state twice. Bush, Sr. continued the winning streak. Bill Clinton finally won the state with 46 percent after Ross Perot split the vote in 1992. That was all she wrote for California. Uncontrolled immigration and voting rule changes ensured California would stay leftist controlled from that point on.
California is blessed with massive wealth. It’s packed with rich celebrities and tech billionaires. It has beautiful beaches and land for tourism, plus great resources for agriculture. It should be one of the best states to live in in the country. Instead, it has become one of the worst. Yet, after 30+ years of monopoly power, leftist policies reign. It’s a reminder to us all that power-hungry leftists care little about actually solving problems or making life better for their citizens. They’re only concerned with maintaining and growing their power.

Thank you for your comment on the truth of California and it’s conservative base. So many in the rest of the country are ready to flush us, forgetting that there are millions of conservatives here fighting and standing, and praying. So many of us are unable to leave, that’s no reason to condemn us.
You are spot on about CA. I get so incensed at those who can’t see that and make stupid comments about the whole state- and I don’t even live there. I’m in a neighboring state, but it’s clear as crystal to me- you visit the state for any length of time and it’s even more obvious.
NO STATE is either red or blue. They are ALL some shade of purple, leaning either blue or red. Oh, and then there are folks who figured out that both worthless major parties are horrible and vote for third party options or don’t support the farce at all.
