Always remember…the victors control what gets written in the history books, and if the government employs the teacher, he/she will be teaching the version that makes the government look good. For instance they will never teach all the evidence about US waging war with Japan in China a year before Pearl Harbor, or the blockades and sanctions against Japan all during 1941 were considered by the Sec. Of War as acts of war, and so much more regarding EVERY war our government has either provoked, funded, started, etc.
Not so much as a child, because I’m older, but the movie Tremors is just a fantastic movie and such a great comedy.
There was also a movie a few decades ago called Harry’s War. People on this site would really like that movie if they could find it. It had to do with a man fighting the IRS and the IRS far exceeding their Authority and operating outside the law.

I cannot listen to what was considered top 40 in the 70s and 80s.
I loved 1964and pre 1964 oldies and then I really liked punk rock and new wave.
