In any murder trial, prosecutors know it’s critical to establish a motive for the crime. All the evidence in the world may not convince a jury of guilt if they can’t answer the simple question, “Why would the defendant commit such a horrific act?”
Although they may not say so explicitly, Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson, and other influencers have pointed to Israel as the chief suspect in terrible recent acts such as the Charlie Kirk assassination, the Bondi terror attack, and the Epstein pedophile ring.
I won’t get into the specifics of their arguments, but the question remains, if true, why would Israel commit such heinous acts? If you say to the average person on the street without context, “Candace Owens thinks Israel’s Mossad assassinated Charlie Kirk, with the help of insiders of the U.S. government to cover it up,” it does indeed sound like unhinged craziness. If you say without context, “Tucker Carlson thinks Mossad set up Jeffrey Epstein’s pedophile ring to blackmail American politicians, with the likely assistance of U.S. intelligence agencies,” it does sound completely insane. So, let’s provide some context.
The country of Israel was created in the aftermath of perhaps the most horrific event in history, the Holocaust. Western powers, largely out of guilt and sympathy, helped carve out a permanent home for Jews in 1948. Although much of the world sympathized with the horrific acts Jewish people endured, this was not a popular action, especially in the Islamic world, which held the land as sacred to its religion. The first Arab-Israeli war erupted almost immediately. In other words, Israel was born out of attempted Jewish extinction that only continued in the early years of its history. Its primary mission became simply, survival.
Tensions continued in the following decades with, among other Middle Eastern conflicts, the Suez Crisis of the 50s and the Six-Day War in 1967. The Six-Day War is especially noteworthy since Israel easily prevailed, backed by U.S. military aid. During the fighting, the American ship USS Liberty was attacked, resulting in the death of dozens of Americans. It was later dubbed an accident, but many, including sailors on the ship itself, believe the attack was deliberate, hoping to pin blame on Egyptians and provide justification for U.S. entry into the war; also known as a “false flag” attack. Israel gained major pieces of land in that war which it holds to this day.
In 1973, neighboring countries launched a coordinated surprise attack, beginning the Yom Kippur War. This time Arab countries, backed by Soviet armaments, nearly succeeded in wiping Israel out of existence. Only American aid saved them from the brink of destruction, and that aid may not have happened but for the involvement of the Soviet Union. This was one of many proxy wars between the U.S. and Soviet Union. American aid to Israel continued unabated. This led to impenetrable Israeli military dominance in the Middle East. Arab enemies then made terror their new weapon of choice, focusing on civilians. High profile attacks such as the 1972 Olympics massacre of Israeli athletes highlighted the Israeli perceived fight for its survival.
On top of this fight for survival, Israel developed a culture of revenge, starting with their justifiable quest to bring Nazi war criminals to justice, many of whom were hunted down by Mossad in Argentina and other locations. After the Olympics attack, Operation Wrath of God used targeted assassinations to get revenge, followed by many more hits. Here are 44 pages of verified and suspected assassinations in its history.
Israeli military superiority and its terror counter measures have largely kept them safe in recent decades. But everything depends on continued U.S. aid. Its economy is insufficient, with a GDP less than the state of Colorado. It has few remaining friends left in the world. Outside of America, they draw nearly universal condemnation by international media. So, they’ve backed themselves into a corner. A country raised on survival and revenge is utterly dependent on the U.S. for its continued existence.
After the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991 and the relatively peaceful years of the late 90s, Americans once again started to question why so much annual aid went to Israel. What were we getting out of the relationship? That all changed on 9/11. The resulting anger fueled a new kinship with Israel, who seemed to be fighting the same war against radical Islamic terror. America took out two of Israel’s biggest enemies–Saddam’s Iraq and Taliban-led Afghanistan. It also intimidated other Islamic enemies, who feared the same fate.
In recent decades, the holocaust and 9/11 events have largely faded from memory. Once again, Americans have started to question continued Israel support, especially given all the wasteful Ukraine war spending, as well as the horrific Israeli response to the October 7th attacks, one the U.N. has called a genocide with over 60,000 people killed. Nowhere is this anti-Israel sentiment higher than millennials and Gen Z, especially on college campuses. That sentiment has been strong on the Left for decades, but recently it’s started to take hold on the Right also. Charlie Kirk was the most influential conservative on college campuses and an Israel loyalist. However, as Candace Owens has well documented, he was starting to turn against Israel. He opposed war with Iran. He refused to disinvite anti-Israel voices like Owens and Carlson. He refused to be bullied by Jewish donors who wanted censorship. His Turning Point USA organization had taken in $300+ million in donations and visited nearly every major college campus, so this was a major threat to future American views of Israel. His assassination changed the trajectory. Since his murder, TPUSA has promoted nearly unanimous pro-Israeli voices. Erika Kirk was put in charge, shielding any criticism of the organization as an attack on a grieving widow.
See any motives yet? Granted, motives don’t prove anything, which is why you need to dig deeper. Still, consider the cultural mentality of Israel in full historical context. What steps must they take to ensure the survival of its 10 million population? Maybe in the minds of their government and its agencies, some strategic murders, false flag operations, and a few dozen exploited young girls are necessary tradeoffs; i.e., collateral damage.
As for Congress, we’ve seen the vast majority of members in both parties fall over themselves to kiss the wall, continue aid, and support Israel no matter what. This despite public opinion that has strongly shifted against that support. Trump also did a complete 180 on almost every issue a few months into his 2nd term, turning half his supporters against him. Connecting the dots brings suspicion that maybe blackmail is involved?
This is a great illustration why its so important to have untouchable values and avoid ends-justify-the-means thinking. The human mind can justify within itself the most horrific acts known to mankind. In the quest to destroy evil, you can become as bad or worse than what you’re fighting. In the case of Israel, their actions have created hatred and future threats that far exceed any they’ve extinguished. The media loves to portray any anti-Israeli sentiment as either Muslim religious fanaticism or simply Nazi-like Jewish hatred. But maybe, just maybe, it’s justifiable anger in response to its abhorrent actions over the years. This is not to excuse terrorist retalitory actions against civilians, nor the terrible actions of their Islamic nation sponsors. I’m just saying it’s not simplistic anti-Jewish brainwashing as is often portrayed.
I sympathize with the average Israeli citizen forced to live in the aftermath of all this. Still, it’s time to stop apologizing, justifying, gaslighting, and denying the actions of the Israeli government & its agencies. Or at the very least, continue to ask questions and examine the possibilities, given the country’s history. Yes, the motive has been established.

Every empire in history and virtually every country on earth for the past 4000 years couldn’t have kicked them out and persecuted them because they were “wonderful.”
Nice balanced commentary in Israel.
What is Judaism, Zionism and Israel without persecution? Just a small group of people seeking relevance in this world. Take away persecution and they have to manufacture it in order to draw attention to their “plight” as a persecuted people. Check and see if Birobijan will hold their whole population then offer free flights to there for them.

Goodbye Moto.
Can’t rule it out, since Israel be evil.
That was funny shit!
I have no particular reason, but I’ve always considered Israel a friend. Guess I’ve been brainwashed.
