Trump was already hemorrhaging support from his base, most notably his libertarian-leaning voters, due to his Big Bankrupting Bill, his continuing wars in Ukraine & Israel, his coziness with DC swamp members, and his trashing of Elon Musk, Tucker Carlson, Thomas Massie, and Rand Paul. However, the way his administration has handled the Epstein case is the nail in coffin of his presidency. He can’t come back from this. Watch in the next few weeks as Congressional Republicans start running for cover, one by one. I would guess the majority of libertarians, including myself, will NEVER, EVER trust anything he or anyone in his adminstration says again.
Trump has been forgiven by his supporters in the past for so many actions and statements that he thought he could say or do anything. He severely miscalcuated with the Epstein bullshit, and he compounded the problem with his condescending rant about people calling out the farce.
Don’t fall for the supposed infighting in his administration. Here’s what happened: Trump and his advisors were confronted with poll numbers, focus group findings, and social media summaries about the Epstein story. They showed it was a total f*cking disaster! They tried to deflect by changing the subject to immigration crackdowns, the Texas floods, and the so-called investigations of Comey and Brennan. BTW, if you think anything will come from investigating those two, raise your hand. If your hand is in the air, slap yourself with it.
Since none of the story redirections worked, they decided they needed to find a scapegoat. Pam Bondi is the easiest target. They leaked stories of supposed clashes with Kash Patel and Dan Bongino. The hope being that this whole debacle can be chalked up to incompetence and poor choices of subordinates. In other words, anything to get the blame off of Trump. I don’t buy it for a second. Patel and Bongino have already gone on record supporting the BS, starting with their zombie-like reversals on Epstein’s “suicide.” There’s a long line of past statements of people throughout the Trump administation that conflict with what they’re saying now.
The Trump MAGA base that elected him was made up almost entirely by people fed up with the Ruling Class system, both Establishment parties, and the Deep State. Independents and libertarians carried him to victory, but he’s now trashed those segments, likely for good. Democrats are already united against him. So, he’s going to be left with bootlickers who think he can do no wrong and RINO supporters who will check whatever box has an (R) after it. If the Democratic Party wasn’t so outrageously bad, Republicans would really be in for a world of hurt. However, what’s most likely going to happen is right-leaning voters stay home for future elections, convinced it doesn’t matter who is in office.
The fact so much of his former base is raising hell now just shows how free thinking it is, quite unlike the vast majority of Democrat voters who refuse to see what their party has become. Screwing Bernie in multiple elections, annointing Kamala without a vote, pardons of the Biden family (and Fauci, Milley, Jan 6th committee, Schiff, etc.), keeping a vegetable in office (controlled by who knows?), runaway inflation & spending–none of it mattered. Democrats stayed united, with all forgiven. Oh, and all the holier-than-thou hacks like AOC who are joining in on the Epstein criticism didn’t seem to raise much fuss is the four years the Biden admin had the Epstein files.
At this point, Trump has one, and only one, chance to salvage his presidency. That is do a complete 180 and tell the whole truth, with mass arrests of the powerful people involved. We all know now that’s never going to happen, and their playing us for idiots is just multiplying the anger. My guess is they scapegoat a few more people, talk about intelligence agency reform, release a few more Epstein documents (which won’t incriminate any of the powerful people they’re protecting), and continue to change the subject.
It’s not going to work this time, though. Americans can forgive a lot of things, but two they won’t are pedophilia and repeated bald-faced lies.
The prospect of this list bringing down major corporations, Wall Street, MOST of our Congress, the White House, foreign governments, the EU, NATO and so much more….IS EXACTLY what is needed. God knows the only other way will involve lots of guns and bloodshed, while virtually ALL of these criminals will escape justice in that scenario. Indeed, you don’t need to convince me more by pretending I should be worried. I know that I am not on that list, but I do know that all of those folks are pathological liars, pedophiles, and currently controlling my life and my freedoms via their control of the strings of government power, the economy, and the money supply.
Joe, I think you are overlooking one thing: the power of the globalist elite that are dead-set on seeing Agenda 2030 become reality. Trump threw a monkey wrench into Agenda 2020, but the Biden puppet gave them time to prepare.
What we are seeing is that Trump is not as powerful as he assumed he was.
No, we will never see justice, term limits, or criminal politicians held accountable.
Congress has prevented the DOGE findings from being acted on. Obama and Biden’s judges are thwarting deportations and dismantling waste.

True, I’m sure there’s lots going on behind the scenes we don’t know, and yes, Trump probably overestimated his own power, but the time for compromise and capitulation is over. We need a wrecking ball for President, not more gaslighting, business-as-usual bullshit.
